Every year before Christmas, my Grandfather hands around a list
of 5-7 new years day College football games. Everyone then
makes their picks.
The outcome:
The person who gets the most right wins a prize. (Brian and Scott)
The person who gets the least right wins the 'Booby Prize' (Wendy)
There's always a 'guess the number of pieces in the jar' game.
The person who guesses closest wins a prize.
Situational game: A situation (this years was "Why is Brian coming
down the mountain so fast?") is presented, and possible answers
("He needs to check his email", "He needs a snack")
Everyone picks one, and the 'correct' answer is picked out of a hat.
The winner gets a prize.
Anyone not already receiving a prize gets a prize. Or two. Or
more.
As you can see, this is essentially an excuse for Grandpa to
give out presents. Damned fine excuse if you ask me.
